Weekly Wind up #2

Welcome to week #2 of my weekly wind up – a weekly recap of the things I have gotten up to. If you are new to my Blog – Welcome, it’s so nice to have you stop by. If you would like to find out more about me, click here, and don’t forget to follow me on social media where I am a lot more active in posting updated content.

So here is what I have gotten up to this week

Doing: More baby washing – this week was all about towels and linen. Man there are a lot of them, from bath towels, to face towels, burp towels – you name it, I have soaked and washed them this week, currently there is a load of blankets and linen on the go, I think we forget how much stuff there is for a new born, well I did, and they are so small and take so long to hang up on the washing line. We are finding out the gender this week, so then I can start on the clothes - that will be another mission - as there are booties and socks, and they are so small, and hanging them up is such a pain.

Buying: No bargains this week for me unfortunately, this week has been so hot, especially the weekend days, the last thing I have wanted to do is any kind of shopping, in fact there is very little I have wanted to do. Definitely don't recommend being pregnant in summer - especially 30 weeks pregnant!

Snapping: Carrying on with my
@FMSphotoaday Challenge here is what this week’s snaps were, and my interpretation of them.

Day 11 - Outdoors
Day 12 - Something I wore
Day 13 – Three of a kind
Day 14 – Close-up
Day 15 - Mail
Day 16 - Chair
Day 17 – Faceless

Reading: I read pregnancy updates this week – just to make sure that everything is growing and doing what it says its supposed to be doing. I have also been reading “ how the elephant got its trunk” – it’s a super cute South African folk tale – Keaton loves it at the moment. Adult book wise – that would still be a big fat 0.

"Storage Wars Texas” - I would love to do this. These people who own second hand shops, or shops that take crappy furniture and make it into something else, all go and bid on storage units that have either not been paid for, or forgotten about. The most amusing part for me, is watching the people bidding – they follow a couple of regulars each night. They always seem to find treasures in the units, but the thing that appeals to me, are the bargain furniture items that some of them take and up cycle. I would love to do this, I think it’s a great way of up cycling junk and giving it a new life.

Also Pretty little liars is back!!!! OMG I love it, so I won’t spoil it if you have not seen it. I stream it, so get to watch it when it comes out in the US. However I was not totally impressed with the first episode - fingers crossed it gets better!

I think I have rambled enough for this week, so until next week’s wind up - have a fab week.
